JCA accredited with ISO 45001

We are delighted to announce that JCA has been accredited with ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

ISO 45001 has been developed by a committee of occupational health and safety experts to help organisations by providing a framework to improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks and create better, safer working conditions. The system was established with consideration of other related standards, such as OHSAS 18001, Occupational health and safety management, the International Labour Organisation’s ILO -OSH 2001 guidelines and various national standards and is consistent with the ILO’s international labour standards and conventions.

Developed with the input of experts from more than 70 countries, ISO 45001 provides an international framework that takes into account the interaction between an organisation and its business environment. ISO 45001 adopts a risk-based approach that ensures it is effective and undergoes continual improvement to meet an organisation’s ever-changing context.

Providing a safe environment is JCA’s number one priority embedding a positive culture of zero incidents, ensuring the health and well being of everyone. We are training our directly employed workforce and those of our subcontractors in the ethos of ‘safety first’. To achieve this, we embed an intrinsic culture of health and safety in our management staff across all sites and throughout the workforce.

JCA is a Living Wage Employer

Did you know that JCA is one of a few thousand UK based companies accredited by Living Wage Foundation?

The Living Wage employers voluntarily pay the real Living Wage which is higher than the government minimum because it is calculated independently and based on the actual costs of living. They also make sure that all their employees in London receive the London Living Wage.

Introducing the Living Wage is a long-term investment in our employees and based on our values. At JCA we believe that good compensation, working conditions and positive environment have a significant impact on employee productivity and wellbeing. Our staff are key in ensuring the core business culture and ethos are met and we are proud to have a capable, educated, motivated, positive and engaged workforce.

JCA is a business that is as passionate about its people as it is for the creativity and imagination of its engineering. Our combination of professional progress and work-life balance makes JCA a great place to work and we focus our efforts on our core values of trust, honesty and transparency and quality.
